Leitat (ECTP Member), Acció and the Provincial Council of Barcelona are pleased to announce that registrations for the "Innovation Procurement and Horizon Europe City Mission and CL5 Brokerage event" in Barcelona on 10-11 October 2024 are open.

This on-site event is financed by the Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades and the AEI, the Spanish Agency for promoting scientific and technical research, through the grant GPE2023-001216-P, and organised with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network, the largest business support network worldwide.

Given the significant potential of innovation procurement for boosting the green and digital transition across the EU, this event will combine innovation procurement and leading-edge solutions with a matchmaking for the upcoming Horizon Europe City Mission and city-related CL5 calls (among them the B4P calls of February 2025) to maximize synergies. The aim of this brokerage event is twofold: 

• The first day will bring together innovative solutions stemming from Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects and local public buyers for closing the gap between local needs and pioneering innovations in an Innovation Marketplace setting. We are looking for solutions in the areas of Buildings/built environment, Circular urban economy, Energy, Mobility and Zero pollution.
• The second day will focus on the upcoming Horizon Europe City Mission and CL5 topics and actively support cooperation between the present cities, start-ups, companies and technology and knowledge centres: Participants can build new cooperation in a matchmaking session.
