Sustainable Construction in Horizon Europe International Matchmaking & Networking, 28/10/2025, Warsaw
Registration: https://www.b2match.com/e/inse-construction-2025
This year’s international INSE’25 conference brings together experts and practitioners to discuss about sustainable construction in the context of the ongoing and upcoming climate changes in Europe (access the agenda here).
Across two focused sessions, the conference will explore the role of sustainable and safe materials in construction. A first high-level panel of construction experts will address if sustainable materials in construction have a future in Poland and Europe, while international perspectives and cross-nation insights will broaden the conversation on shared challenges and opportunities. The second panel discussion will highlight importance of international cooperation to build strength and resilience Europe. Due to case studies, the event will focus on the main goal – winning Horizon Europe calls because one of the most valuable is the experience of others. In this session, panel members will share their experiences and lessons learned from the failures. Key lessons from practitioners show where attention should be directed, which finally brings us closer to answer: how to write a good and winning project in Horizon Europe.
Among key sessions with experts, the participants are invited to take part in the matchmaking and pitching sessions.
Matchmaking session
The event will offer possibility of pre-arranged one-to-one meetings which will be a great opportunity to meet a potential partner and create fruitful business opportunities. The aim of INSE’25 is to become a networking platform around the calls of Horizon Europe in the field of obtaining funds for the implementation of R&D projects. There will be a space for participants to establish relationships, search for partners for projects, and exchange experiences.
Pitching session
Innovative technologies in construction will be the main topic of the pitching session. The session is open to all companies, organizations, and universities operating in the construction sector, which are encouraged to present projects, research, technological solutions, and case studies. Presentations that align with the specific themes of the current Horizon Europe calls are especially welcome:

- Horizon-CL5-2026-02-D4-02 - Smarter buildings as part of the energy system for increased efficiency and flexibility
- Horizon-CL5-2026-02-D4-03 - Innovative pathways for low carbon and climate resilient building stock and built environment
- Horizon-CL5-2026-02-D4-04 – Innovative approaches for the deployment of Positive Energy Districts
- Horizon-CL5-2026-02-D4-05 - Optimal combination of low embodied carbon construction products, technical building systems and circularity principles for climate neutral buildings
