The Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) call 2025 has just been published (call text here). 

Research organisations, companies, NGOs and public authorities are welcome to apply in consortia with partners from at least three different countries that include a municipality or local authority. Most projects have budgets of around 1-2 € million. The coordinator is responsible for submitting a concise pre-proposal between 1 September and 17 November 2025. If selected, the consortium will be asked to submit a full second proposal between 20 February - 23 April 2026.

One of the three main call areas with a direct link to buildings is ‘Positive Energy Districts’, with a focus on solutions for social housing as well as heating and cooling strategies.
