The European Commission has launched an initiative to speed-up energy system decarbonisation and supporting the shift to renewable and efficient H&C in buildings, industry and networks: the Heat Pump Action Plan (more information on DG Energy website here).
 
As part of its stakeholder consultation for the action plan, a Call for Evidence was open on the Have Your Say portal, followed by an open public consultation launched in June 2023 and remaining open until 30 August 2023.  
 
In this context, DG ENER (Unit B3, Buildings and Products) organises a series of four hybrid stakeholder events that aim to provide a focussed exchange and discussion on the envisaged building blocks of action plan communication.

2. Research, innovation, and market development – 16 June 2023
3. Financing the roll-out of heat pumps – 5 July 2023
4. Supportive framework conditions and governance (European, national, regional, and local) - September 2023 (date to be confirmed).
